CONTIPARK acquires underground garage in Bayreuth

CONTIPARK has repeatedly won an acquisition success this year. Since 9 May 2017, the underground car park and the car park at Stadthallen Bayreuth are owned by the CONTIPARK Group.

In a Europe-wide tender procedure, CONTIPARK was able to convince the Stadtwerke Bayreuth with its long-lasting expertise and made the best offer. “CONTIPARK has presented a very good concept, which convinced both Stadtwerke Bayreuth, our Supervisory Board and the City Council,” says Jürgen Bayer, Managing Director of Stadtwerke Bayreuth.

CONTIPARK acquires 50-year-old inheritance law for the Stadthallen in Bayreuth

CONTIPARK has thus secured the hereditary building rights for the next 50 years. In order to upgrade the parking garage, according to the high structural standards, the garage has to be renovated first.

The Managing Director of the CONTIPARK Group also welcomes the contract conclusion: “The Parking garage Stadthalle in Bayreuth is an ideal addition to our existing portfolio. We are very pleased to have received the award for this park property in the best downtown location in Bayreuth. In order to rehabilitate the parking object in Bayreuth, we will work closely with the city of Bayreuth, “says Michael Kesseler.
