At the beginning of the year the portfolio of the Contipark group of companies has increased again. Two new parking facilities in Hamburg’s Altona district – the parking garage Mercado and the parking garage Hahnenkamp – now belong to the more than 570 properties in Germany and Austria of the Berlin car park operator.
The Mercado multi-storey car park is linked to the shopping centre of the same name. Opened in 1995, the shopping complex offers its visitors not only numerous shops and restaurants but also around 30 permanently installed stands with a weekly farmers’ market character on the ground floor. The associated multi-storey car park is open 24/7 and has around 400 parking spaces, where not only customers of the shopping centre can park conveniently and inexpensively. 25 parking spaces for persons with restricted mobility and twelve parking spaces for women offer additional comfort to these special customer groups.
Not far from the Mercado multi-storey car park is the Hahnenkamp multi-storey car park with 77 spaces. Both parking facilities are also located in the immediate vicinity of Hamburg Altona station, making them an ideal starting point for rail travelers. Both car parks can be reached via Ottenser Hauptstraße.
In order to be able to offer car drivers the proven Contipark standard, the Mercado and Hahnenkamp car parks will soon be equipped with state-of-the-art parking technology. The integration into the P Card system will also take place soon. Both properties are already connected to the company’s own Customer Service Center in Berlin, whose staff is available around the clock to answer questions and solve problems for users of the parking facilities.
