Contipark expands portfolio with three new parking facilities

As of 01.12.2022, the Berlin parking operator Contipark has taken over three new parking facilities into its portfolio. Two parking lots in Berlin and Dresden as well as an underground car park in Darmstadt complement the company’s real estate portfolio with immediate effect.

In Dresden, Contipark has taken over the parking lot “Weißer Hirsch” in the eponymous district in the northwest of the city as of 01.12.2022. The property, built in 2017, is located on Bautzner Landstraße and has 30 parking spaces. In the immediate vicinity of the parking lot are, among others, a medical centre, a supermarket and the branch of a large drugstore chain. As the leaseholder of the property, the company has equipped the car park with modern parking technology, and the parking ticket machines accept cash as well as EC and credit card payments. The tariffs are one euro per hour and a maximum of 6 euros for 24 hours. In addition, there is an evening tariff, where a flat rate of two euros is charged from 9 pm to 8 am. The car park is the company’s third facility in Dresden.

Contipark has also taken over a parking lot in Berlin and has been managing it since 01.12.2022 on the basis of a lease agreement. The 63-space parking lot “Krankenhaus Waldfriede” is located on the grounds of the hospital of the same name on Argentinische Allee in the district of Zehlendorf. The acute hospital “Waldfriede” is a teaching hospital of the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin. It has around 160 beds and provides annual care for around 15,000 inpatients and 60,000 outpatients. One hour’s parking costs 2 euros, 24 hours costs 18 euros. Together with the new facility, Contipark now manages 40 parking facilities in Berlin.

With the takeover of the management of the underground car park “Postbahnhof” on the basis of a lease agreement, Contipark is also represented on the parking market in Darmstadt for the first time since the beginning of December. Located at Poststraße 4-6 directly next to the main station, the property has 180 parking spaces on one level and is open around the clock. Parking tariffs start at 1.50 euros per hour, from two hours onwards the daily rate of three euros applies. Contipark operates the underground car park “Postbahnhof” on behalf of DB BahnPark GmbH. The company manages a total of around 230 BahnPark properties in Germany.
